Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland organises in-house case day with B&R Investment Society

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland and the Vice-President of B&R Investment Society, Adnaan Wilson, have come to an agreement to organise an in-house case day. B&R is the student investment society at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Their mission is to help their members to learn everything about investing. They shape this purpose by different means such as B&R Beurs Academy, where new members are taught the financial world by veteran members of the society and guest lecturers. Then, this knowledge is broadened by a number of readings, workshops, classes, guests speakers and company in-house days.

The in-house case day will introduce B&R members to the world of private equity. The students will tackle a specific private equity case with feedback from industry professionals. The winning team members will be awarded with a financial compensation, Italian wines and interviews towards an internship with the investment company.

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Go., has attended the Osteology Symposium in Barcelona. The Symposium is a conference covering a specialisation within dentistry which is also closely related to implantology. The latter is Dr. Go’s specalisation and through regular attendance of such conferences, he is able to guide the medical staff of Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland and to Ensure dental healthcare treatments are being done with the knowdledge of the latest medical developments.

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland has been nominated for the ‘Award Diversiteit in Bedrijf’

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland has been nominated for the ‘Award Diversiteit in Bedrijf’ amongst two nominees. On April 4th 2019, a conference will be held at the headquarters of ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, during which the winning company will be announced. This award has been conceptualized by the Labor Foundation (Stichting van de Arbeid) as an initiative of the Charter Diversity.

In this context, on the 21st of June 2017, Charter Diversity has been co-signed by Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland. The Diversity Charter is part of the Diversiteit in Bedrijf project. This project supports employers and employees in their quest and aim for more diversity in their organizations through the provision of knowledge/information, network and advice. With the latter, employers can improve their results.

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland increases growth by acquiring multiple running dental clinics in the Benelux. The acquisitions which have been agreed upon will be completed in the second quarter of this year. These events have officialized the group’s internationalization and have brought 2019’s growth forecast into a triple-digit rate. The group aims for further acquisitions in the second half of 2019. With the aim of accommodating the growth that the group is currently undergoing, the management has expanded with new appointments.

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland and the chief event manager of the Women’s Business Network, Sonia Shvets, have come to an agreement to organise an in-house case day. The Women’s Business Network is a student association that offers a platform for ambitious female students and graduates of Erasmus University. The association is established as a response to the growing demand for diversity within businesses. Their goal is to be a platform where they can connect young talented female students and graduates with the right companies as well as mentors and alumni.

The case day will introduce the Women’s Business Network students to Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland. The students of the Association will tackle a specific private equity case with feedback from industry professionals. The winning team members will be awarded with interviews towards an internship with the firm.

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland’s management is honoured and grateful to announce that the group has been awarded the title FD Gazelle 2018 by the Financieele Dagblad. The Financieele Dagblad is a newspaper echoing the style and audience targeting of the well-known Financial Times (FT) newspaper, for the Dutch market.

A company which is one the FD Gazelle is considered among the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands with over 20% year on year growth for 3 undisrupted years. Other criteria needed to carry this title are based on the financial health of the company.

All the criteria are:
● A turnover growth of at least 20% over a period of three years
● The turnover growth over the three-year period is uninterrupted
● In the first year the turnover is at least € 250.000
● Economically active on the 1st of January 2015
● The company must have been profitable in the preceding year to title and can only have sustained a net loss for one of the 2 years preceding the latter
● Companies must be financially sound

The group’s management would like thank all of it’s patients, staff members, suppliers and partners. All have had an important contribution towards this moment. On November 4th the group will have reached it’s 5th anniversary. Yet, a long path lies ahead and we are looking forward to reach more milestones. This growth has only been possible due to the group’s concentration on high quality service provision whilst also taking into account the company’s moral obligations to all stakeholders.

In October, 2018 Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland management visited Dentex Expo in Brussels, Belgium. This event provided a greater understanding of the market and opportunities to partner up with different suppliers as an expansion into Belgium has begun as part of the company’s internationalization.

Dentex Expo is a dental business fair hosted in Brussels attended by 150 national and international manufacturers and distributors of dental healthcare equipment. 6.500 from the dental industry joined this year to network, discover the market and also attend accredited seminars.

The Case Society is a student association accepting only the best students to take part in theoretical business cases and solving them with the best plan of action moving forward from the given situation. This will allow students to tackle a specific private equity, healthcare related case with feedback from industry professionals. The winning team will be awarded interviews toward internships with the firm.

Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland sponsors film for the 48 Hour Film Project

In alignment with the Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland management’s affinity for the arts, a film project was sponsored by the company. The film sponsored was a short, named In Focus.

The project was created by team Gers for the 48 Hour Film Project Rotterdam, a competition in which teams of filmmakers are assigned a genre alongside other specific elements that must appear in their movies. The teams then have 48 hours to create a short film.

The competition was held in 2001 for the first time and is held yearly in cities all around the world from New York to Shanghai. The form of sponsoring for the film was the provision of Tandheelkunde Groep Nederland’s headquarters estate, Villa Lakeside, as a shooting location.

The film, starring Albertine De Kanter, Anke Van ‘T Hof, Laurens De Groot and Truus De Boer was screened on Friday the 31st of August at Lantaren Venster in Rotterdam. The film will also be send to other film festivals.
